Are you at risk for a Breech Baby?
Growing tiny humans inside your body changes your posture and the ability to manage how well you manage your pressure. When those pressures get too great, we succumb to the position of what our bodies allow. Sometimes that means an over arched back, prolapsed pelvic floor, jaw pain, neck tension, shoulder pain, arm numbness, sciatica, foot pain, or upside-right baby.
Some things that put you at risk for a breech baby include:
- You are a mouth breather
- You lock your knees and let your belly arch forward
- You have history of having braces, TMJ, or jaw injury
- You have scoliosis
- Multiple pregnancies
- Played high level sports (rotational)
Remember this is Not An Emergency!
Here are a few things to consider after you leave your ultrasound or doctor’s visit and they say the baby is not in the optimal position….
- Are you supported? Are you getting OB care that believes that your baby will turn or are they counting on the surgical method of babies entering the world?
- You must BELIEVE that the baby can turn.
- Your feelings, thoughts, and what you have seen, heard, or have been told ALL MATTER. Our body is a beautiful system that is intertwined deeply together. If you believe it, it will manifest in your body. Try to eliminate any of the negativity that does not support your goal.
- You and your baby are a team. Talk to your baby, ask your baby to help you, and encourage the turn together.
- This is not an emergency. As you approach your due date your baby has limited space, but it is still possible to flip the baby before delivery.
The body has an innate ability to heal itself and pregnancy is a process that allows a woman to transform into the woman she is meant to be. Babies follow the path of least resistance and ultimately grow, move, spin and exit the pelvis with the internal pressures that the mother holds inside her body.
With some guidance, you can release those patterns and reposition the baby without even touching the baby! When the body is balanced it truly is a beautiful dance between a mother and a child.
And you might have guessed it! We do that through BREATH!

In this guide, you will have access to 8 repositioning activities. NOT to get you stronger, but to restore your full range of motion in the pelvis, ribcage and neck in order to restore your pressure from within.
Once you restore your full range of motion in those 3 levels, you have a better chance
of “stacking” your diaphragm over your pelvic floor. This “stacking” will allow
you create more space that the baby can utilize to potentially flip head down.
It is important to recognize that these positions are not “stretches” or “exercises,” but are key reference positions so you can expand utilizing the most under recognized thing in our body the diaphragm.
I have outlined a recommended sequence on how to use the program depending on how many weeks you are along in your pregnancy.
